Linda - Thanks for stopping by. I completely understand how you feel, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts here.

K - It sure is nice to see you here! And yes, I like Garry's boldness as well. :)

Tish, I think you are right that Garry's humor didn't come off to a lot of folks like it was intended to. I have known Garry for a long time and I can immediately spot his intention but obviously didn't work the same way with others. Again, this kind of boldness is what makes me go back to his blog. :-)

Too much fuss.

To be frank, I don't like to be compared to a hooker. As the reader above notes, anyone who makes that comparison is going to cop trouble.

I don't find it funny at all...seriously, if you were the one targeted, and didn't already know the blogger, would you?

Many bloggers, myself included, take great pains to disclose very obviously that a post is sponsored.

GC also made at least one factual error: not all the P3 posts require a minimum page rank.

The Page Rank thing makes it more difficult in the short run, but the introduction of RealRank is likely to give them a run for their money. Google has become a monopoly, and a greedy one at that.

Looks like Gary gives back as much as he gets though. ;)

Ad Tracker - I checked out your post and commented. I completely understand how you feel, especially given that this situation is personal for you. I think Garry's humor didn't quite come off as intended to a lot of the readers.

Thanks for visiting!

I understand your position and your point and I agree that he does give out some tidbits of useful information on his blog.

However, anyone who thinks they won't catch hell for comparing Stay At Homw Moms who make a little extra Christmas money to street walking hookers just isn't thinking clearly.

That's why I think the whole thing was link/comment bait. I don't want to go on too long in your comments. I wrote my own response article.
